Project Description

We have developed a one-stop personalized 3D internal dosimetry software, i.e., BIGDOSE, for voxel-based targeted radionuclide therapy. This software equips with the most comprepensive non-rigid registration schemes to improve the dosimetric accuracy, with options of “virtual CT” to reduce unnecssary CT radiation dose. BIGDOSE is applicable for dosimetric calculations from patients’ images acquired from all vendors with functions of segmentations, curve fitting, voxel-S-value-based dose conversion and 3D data analysis besides the state-of-the-art image registration. It has been evaluated based on simulations and over 20 clinical patients with different applications (e.g., Y-90 microsphere, In-111/Y-90 DOTATATE), showing improved accuracy as compared to current commercial and research software. Advance curve fitting and voxel-S-value techniques are being investigated.
